Jordan 2008

10 juillet 2008

Goodbye Cairo, Goodbye Egypt!

I spent my last moments in Egypt seated at the VIP lounge of Cairo airport. I had a fantastic trip so far with Marc. During the two weeks came to pass, not only I visited the Pyramids and the Pharaonic temples, but I also learned a lot about the fascinating history of Egypt.

At that time I had a little too eager to be in Jordan and see my family. I knew more than Jordan was very different from Egypt, in particular for its architecture and landscapes. I had a little excitement for Marc knowing he was going to see this difference between the two Arab countries.

When we went to the gate, sat a few minutes to wait until we called. There was obviously a man who was allowed to smoke a cigarette because there were no signs that a prohibited. This man has also helped to crush his cigarette on the floor clean, earth and air pollutant without any regret. I watched with disdain.

The night fell and there were many lights at Cairo airport for noticing that aircraft, mostly Boeing 737. A bus has led us to Embraer Royal Jordanian. Arriving at the staircase of the plane, passengers were unable to remove them from the bus because someone was praying just below. So we all waited a few minutes before finally boarding the plane.
